Fostering a more engaged and diverse workplace
Projects and sites across Leighton Asia put up posters for staff to pledge how they will contribute to a more gender inclusive workplace on International Women's Day (IWD).
Staff were also encouraged to join WINTR (Women in non-traditional roles), a private group on LinkedIn to provide further support to female participation in our industry.
Leighton Asia’s office in Singapore watched a short video on the IWD and discussed how they can raise the awareness on gender equality and increase female participation. A pink rose was presented to recognized women’s effort in cultivating a more diverse and inclusive workplace.
General Manager - India kicked off the IWD across Leighton Asia's Indian offices and projects with a short video on workplace diversity via video conference. Ladies had decorated their desk in a bid to raise awareness of IWD and gathered for lunch to drive discussions on increasing opportunities for women.
Same as last year, a free medical consultation was provided to ladies by a partner hospital as an initiative to support their well-being.
