Leighton Asia is pleased to partner with NLEX Corporation to refurbish the female military personnel lodging facility at Northern Luzon Command (NOLCOM) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
The facility serves as lodging for military and civilian guests who are on official or personal travel near the vicinity of the command and is located inside Camp General Servillano Aquino in Tarlac City.
This second phase of the project involves the replacement of the roof, column supports, and ceiling of the facility, renovation of the lobby and entrance walkway and installation of barracks.
NLEX Corporation and Leighton Asia are aiming to complete the project before the year ends.
This initiative is part of a corporate social responsibility program to give back to communities and other stakeholders.
“Across our business, Leighton Asia operates with a strong focus on social responsibility to create a positive impact in the areas where we are present. We wanted to extend this to those who protect and safeguard our communities,” said Kits V. Chuidian, Leighton Asia’s Country Manager - Philippines.
At Leighton Asia, we put emphasis on social responsibility to create a positive impact in the communities we set foot in. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace with our Women in Construction and Engineering Group (WOICE).
We are proud to be giving back to the female military personnel who protect and safeguard our communities. The project will provide guests with a comfortable lodging facility and demonstrates our appreciation for their service.
