Leighton Asia’s WOICE group in Singapore started off 2023 with a Charity Fun 5km Walk and Jog event on 6 January 2023. 50 staff from the head office, North-South Corridor N103, Deep Tunnel Sewerage System Phase 2 Contract T-09 and electrical services for tunnels (TR308) took part and completed a combined 250km by walking between Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade and Marina Barrage.
This first charity event organised by the WOICE Singapore Group successfully raised around SGD3,226 to support “Make-A-Wish Singapore”, a non-governmental organisation that grants the wishes of children aged 3 to 17 with critical illnesses.
Thanks to everyone who devoted time and money to helping the needy. We are so grateful to receive active participation and support from our staff. It is so meaningful to unite staff for something good for the community at the start of 2023.
